To Number Our Days

Death is a reality that most people try to avoid. The mere mention of it is strong enough to instill worry, pain, or even fear.

They say that death is the greatest equalizer. It respects no fame, wealth, or power. Death comes even to the richest, the strongest, and the most beautiful. But one thing that death teaches us is that life is short, and we need to make the most of our days.

“What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.”

James 4:14

May today lead us to reflect on how we’re living our lives.

  • Am I giving enough value to the most important relationships in my life?
  • Am I showing love to those around me? Do people remember me as someone who loves selflessly and unconditionally?
  • Do I use my life to serve others?
  • Am I serving God’s purpose for my life?

May God give us a heart of wisdom so we can live by the right priorities and pursue His presence and purpose in our lives.
